Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP)
Financial assistance may be available to students who are Canadian citizens, permanent residents or protected persons and residents of Ontario. Apply early and free of charge over the Internet at osap.gov.on.ca/. Refer to the OSAP website for deadline information. Limited paper applications are available at secondary school guidance offices and at postsecondary educational institutions, a $10 fee applies.

Georgian Entrance Bursary
Bursaries are available to new full-time students who are Canadian citizens, permanent residents or protected persons entering post-secondary programs. Upon acceptance to your program, you will receive an application form in your acceptance package. Deadlines apply. Many other sources of emergency funds and special loans exist at the College. Student Awards and Scholarships
Do you need funds to support your education? Being a student can be accompanied by a lot of financial stress: tuition and the cost of living. The Office of Development and Alumni Relations currently disburses over 900 awards and scholarships, with a combined value of approximately
$600,000, available to deserving Georgian College students.

Laurentian University at Georgian Scholarships

These scholarships are available to full-time students (five courses) entering Laurentian@Georgian program directly from secondary school. No application is required. Certain restrictions apply.
Average Entrance Scholarship*
80-84.9%:       $1,500**
85-89.9%:       $2,000
90-94.9%:      $2,500
95% and up:   $3,500

*Renewable each academic year as long as requirements are met.
**Renewable 80-84.9% = $1,000

Graduates of a Georgian College diploma program can receive a $1,000 scholarship with an overall average of 80 percent or higher in their diploma program. No application is required. Certain restrictions apply.

Laurentian Leadership Award $1,000.00
Presented to students who have demonstrated leadership within their Simcoe County high schools and who have contributed in a positive way to making their high schools and communities a better place. Recipients must be registered as full-time in five Laurentian University courses at Georgian College in the fall and winter terms. The secondary school principal or head of  guidance can nominate one student from a high school.
